Product Review: Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss

If you love lip glosses, then you've probably heard of, or at least tried, the colorful tubes of Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush. 

These colorful and sparkly lip glosses are every little girl's fantasy. In fact they would fit perfectly in a young girl's makeup kit. It's fun, quirky, sweet (literally), and colorful. There are more than 50 shades which gives you an array or an arsenal to choose from for your casual makeup.

Pros:

Ranging from $5-$20, this tube is as affordable as lip glosses can get. The fruity smell and sweet taste is a big plus for the ladies who get kissed often. The thickness in consistency makes your lips look plump. Lastly, the clear shimmer with subtle shades of pink are light enough to be layered over lipstick. 

Cons:

It's sticky. Yes, all lip glosses have this consistency that makes it thick, but this is just too much that when wind brushes your hair against your face, you're sure to have strands stuck on your lips. The shades look good when layered over lipstick but can't stand alone. It looks unnatural with the glitter and shimmer against pale lips.

The Verdict:

Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Lip Glosses are a good alternative for expensive tubes. It's great to use during casual dates when you're sure you're going to have to pucker up just as long as you won't be doing any rigorous activity or the beach where you'll get stuff stuck on your lips.
