Make Up Tips for Eyes That Pop!

Everyone always wants their eyes to look bigger, brighter, more striking.

Well one way to do this is to wear makeup that compliments your eye color and shape. Use the color wheel to help bring out your eyes.

Complimentary colors are colors that are across from each other on the wheel. If you have blue eyes, oranges are the colors to wear to make them more blue. By no means am I saying to go out and get bright orange eyeshadow but you can pick out some golds, coppers, and bronzy tones...that would look fantastic.

Green eyes look more green when you choose purples that have green's compliment red in them-so a warm violet would do nicely.

Brown eyes can wear any color, but if you want to bring out some amber honey tones which is in the yellow and orange family, you would go with the yellow and orange compliments, purple and blue. A dark cool toned purple or navy eyeliner would really set off some killer brown eyes.

Always use an eye base under your shadow for extra pigment visibility and crease free eye make up that lasts all day. I love M.A.C. Paints or Urban Decay Primer Potion.
