Disappointing at Best
Following the purchase of a legitmate online internet deal for IPL treatment, I have received extremely disappointing service. The $129 deal indicated $1400 value for 6 months, however when I contacted Skintrition Salon for IPL treatment, I had to wait 7 weeks for a consultation. Following my first full IPL treatment 2 weeks later, a young consultant at Skintrition (Ashleigh) indicated that due to being an 'online' customer, I could only have my appointments every 6 weeks!! Surely, I should not be disadvantaged if I purchased a legitimate deal that Skintrition themselves advertised via an online source. Following other IPL treatments at other salons, I believe that it is common practice to allow 4 weeks between IPL treatments. In any case, my bikini line was regrowing within 1-2 weeks & I believe this would not be the case if the treatment was carried out properly. If I can only manage appointments every 6 weeks for 6 months & I had to wait to almost 2 months for a consultation, that indicates that I will only have 3 treatments in the remaining 4 months of the deal. The salon advised the cost for a IPL treatment on the bikini is $85 per treatment, so if I only get 3 treatments, this amounts to the value of $255. Where does $1400 worth of treatment fit in??? Extremely disappointed!! In any case, I recommend Oriental Beauty on Waterview Road, Docklands. The service is exceptional and great value for money
